Choose between an outdoor location or my in-home studio for your family session. Include grandparents (and fur babies, if you have them!) for an especially memorable extended family portrait!These sessions last between 45-90 minutes and should be booked 3-4 weeks in advance.

These are more than just photographs; these are pieces of artwork for your family that will only grow in value. It brings me so much joy to know that you and your children will be able to look back and treasure these memories in the years to come.Expect your newborn photography experience to be easy, relaxed and fun. My goal with each session is to make things as seamless as possible on you. The days following a birth can be a whirlwind of activity and emotions - so think of your newborn session as a time to slow down and savor some quiet moments with your new baby.Newborns photograph best between 5 and 14 days old. So sooner is always better, but it is OK if the baby is already here. I can totally work with older babies, just know they aren't as deliciously bendy as brand-new babies.

It is such a magical time, and I am honored to capture memories of this stage of life for you in a maternity session before baby arrives.Your maternity session can take place either in your home or on-location, outdoors. Maternity sessions are best booked somewhere between your 30th-36th weeks of pregnancy. Your belly will be fully rounded but you will still be comfortable on your feet. Think of this session as your last chance to spend quality time with your partner before the baby arrives!

Laboring mamas are so focused on within, that the images I capture help to tell the story that you couldn't see. It is such a magical time, and I would be honored to capture memories of your birth for you.For birth clients, I am on call starting 2 weeks before your estimated due date. I will arrive at your preferred birth location, usually when you are measured at about 7cm, and I will go wherever I am allowed per your preferred birthing locations' rules. Be mindful that it will be up to you to notify your care providers that you wish for me to be present during your birth.Families that book birth sessions with me often choose to add on a maternity session and/or a styled newborn session. For these combined session packages, I take a single session retainer of $500 instead of per session, as well as offering product selections from your combined sessions that showcase your journey into parenthood. The complete "9 Months in the Making" package starts at $3,000 and includes a beatiful album that includes images from all of your sessions.

The First Step - Let's TalkAs mentioned above, each session is fully customized to your family with the end result in mind. Therefore, we'll begin the process with a phone or email consultation. This gives me a chance to get to know you, what your personal style is like, and ultimately, what your portrait goals are for your session.Design Consultation – In PersonWhen we meet in person we will go through my session planning guide to get into deeper detail about finalizing location, clothing and hair/makeup options. I can even help you go through your closet if you’re having trouble deciding what to wear! This is also the time where you will be able to view and experience my beautifully crafted Folio Boxes, Albums, and other products. I will go over pricing and answer all your questions so that you will have an idea what your investment in the finished art may look like. If everything looks good so far and you are ready to move forward, you will pay your reservation deposit and we will coordinate possible dates.The ShootAfter we’ve settled on a location, your wardrobe and you’re all set to have some fun, it’ll be my turn to capture your family at it’s fun-loving best! Whether we are in your home for a lifestyle newborn session, or on the beach with the family, I’ve got go-to poses that will flatter everybody, and fun games to keep the laughs and smiles coming. Worried about the younger kiddos? Don’t be! Kids are wired to explore and seek new boundaries, and really, the crazier the better in order to capture their true personality. We’ll get a great mix of posed and candid images that you’ll have a tough time picking favorites!1-2 Weeks Following – Reveal and Ordering AppointmentShortly after your session we’ll schedule your reveal and ordering appointment. This is where you will see the payoff from all the planning we put into your session. We will go through your images and design pieces for specific locations in your home based on what we discussed during your consultations. We will be finalizing your portrait order during this appointment, so be sure to pick a time where all decision-makers can be present.4-6 Weeks Following – Product Delivery and InstallationOnce your art pieces arrive and I have inspected them to ensure they’re perfect, I will reach out to make arrangements for delivery and installation. Once your portraits are on your walls, you can sit back and enjoy them! Remember their smiles, that laugh, and the fun you had making the images.Immediately – What about next year?Of course, the fun doesn’t have to end there. I am thrilled that you'll enjoy those portraits on your wall, but those kiddos won't stop growing. What about next year, or the year after? Your portrait collections are designed to look great now AND to move throughout your home as your collection grows. Because each session is catered to your family, we will take as much (or as little) time as we need to get the images we want. There is no hard and fast rule about how long we must take, but on average you can plan to spend about 90 minutes for a Maternity or Portrait Session (2-3 hours if there are outfit or location changes involved). My sessions usually come to a natural close when everyone feels like we've covered all the bases.Newborn Sessions will run between 2 and 4 hours because I will work at whatever pace baby sets (nursing, changes, and mommy hugs), I will also work quickly so that my lovely and likely tired parents can get some rest!Birth Sessions last as long as they will last. I do not limit or meter my time with laboring mama's, but I will take breaks and bring meals if your labor takes awhile.

When you decide to book your session with me, a $350 deposit is required in order to complete your booking. Your Reveal and Ordering Appointment is typically scheduled within 2 weeks of your session date. It is during this appointment that you will see all the wonderful images that we made together, as well as walk through your product options and finalize your order selections.There is no minimum purchase required, but it is my job to create images that you absolutely love. So while actual pricing will vary based on the sizes and number of images you buy, I can guarantee that you will only pay for the images you love. It 's as simple as that.
